TIPS ON HEALTHY EATING DURING THE FASTING MONTH
Iftar : 3 pieces of dates, ½ cup of fruit juice, 1 cup vegetable broth or ½ cup of porridge, and 1 piece of cake.
Dinner : 1½ cups of rice, 1 piece of fish or chicken, 1 cup mixed vegetables and 1 piece of fruit.
Supper (moreh) : A simple snacks such as bread, biscuits, sandwiches, cakes, nuts or fruits.
Sahur : 1½ cups of rice and 1 whole fried fish / ½ cup of mixed vegetables and tofu soup / 1 banana or 3 dates / 1 cup water and 1 cup plain low-fat milk / 1 cup of breakfast cereal with ½ cup low-fat milk and raisins / slices banana / 2 slices of wholemeal bread with some jam / 1 glass of orange juice and 1 cup of plain water.
The SOCSO Health Screening Programme (HSP) was announce during the 2013 Budget by YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak on 28 September 2012.The HSP is a health screening programme which will be offered to all active workers contributing to SOCSO who attain 40 years of age.
