The pandemic has dramatically accelerated work digitization and remote work, where people started working at home for the first time. As new COVID-19 cases continue to emerge and affecting the socio-economy, employers should emphasize the health aspect of employees.

Staying at home for prolonged periods of time can pose a significant challenge for remaining physically active. Physical inactivity is one of the leading risk factors for death worldwide. It is a key risk factor for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes.

Activ@Work Challenge, an initiative by PERKESO aims to encourage employers to help their employees to stay active, even when working from home during this pandemic! Collecting reward while being active, this program can make physical activity an interesting and engaging physical activity.
